Prerequisites ACC 136B or ACC 201 with a grade of C or better, or by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of double-entry accounting
Transfer Information Courses with a 'B' Designator after the number: This course may apply toward a WNC degree or certificate program depending on the degree chosen and other courses completed. It may not transfer or apply to programs at four-year universities within Nevada (UNR, UNLV). In some cases, this course may transfer and apply to programs at two and four year colleges within Nevada and may transfer to out of state schools. Catalog Course Description
Offers skills for working professionals and students who wish to advance their career in the bookkeeping profession. Upon successful completion, students will be able to sit for a national exam administered by the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB). Upon passing this exam and completing two years of bookkeeping experience, individuals earn the right to call themselves "Certified Bookkeepers."
