| Surveys the Native American populations of Nevada and adjacent areas with emphasis on contemporary reservation conditions. |
| II : Course Objectives |
Students will have a basic understanding of:
- the cultures of native peoples of the Great Basin and surrounding areas;
- the principles and theories of ethnographic study; and
- the value and importance of human diversity.
- students will exercise the following academic skills: reading, writing, oral communication, and online and library research.
