Course Outline

I: Catalog Course Description

Offers fundamentals of sculpture using plaster, wood and other materials.

II: Course Objectives

• Develop an understanding of the materials and process associated with sculpture.
• Introduce a basic understanding of the language of three-dimensional design.
• To encourage the development of visual concepts utilizing these principles.
• To develop an understanding and appreciation for the relationship between form and content.
• To encourage an environment of experimentation and imagination.
