Course Outline
I: Catalog Course Description
Presents information and computing exercises to provide students with the skills necessary to successfully create, edit, and print professional-looking documents. Format is mostly "hands-on" computing exercises and lecture. Perfect for those who are new to word processing programs.
Note: Non-transferable for a NSHE baccalaureate degree. Non-applicable towards an AA or AS Degree.
II: Course Objectives
Learn to create, save print, and reopen word processing documents. Learn the fundamentals of page layout, fonts, justification, formatting, tables, margins, tabs, indents, headers, footers, page numbers, and graphics. Learn the fundamentals of menus, mouse icons, templates.
