Provides instruction and training in advanced two-dimension AutoCAD commands. Covers the use of symbols and symbol libraries. Introduces three-dimensional drawing.
Demonstrate an ability to use advanced dimensioning techniques.
Demonstrate an ability to create and use blocks and block/symbol libraries.
Demonstrate the ability to utilize tiled view ports.
Demonstrate the ability to reference external drawings into the current drawing.
Demonstrate an ability to construct isometric drawings.
Demonstrate an ability to utilize both Model Space and Paper Space to create and plot drawings.
Demonstrate ability to use advanced editing commands and techniques.
Demonstrate ability to place and utilize multilines.
Demonstrate ability to utilize the Multiple Design Environment.
Demonstrate an ability to draw sections and place hatching.

The mission of the Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting Technology is to provide employment-related knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the current drafting environment.
