| Learn to be a professional and responsible babysitter from beginning to end through this American Red Cross Babysitting Certification class. Students will learn how to build a resume, interview for the job, and determine if they want the job and also business techniques. Gather family information and emergency numbers as well as household rules and details about each child. Learn games for different age levels and safety tips and about the child and animals under your care. Develop skills in holding, feeding and washing infants. Understand how to take care of bites, stings, bleeds, burns, etc. Graduates receive a babysitting certificate/card from American Red Cross. For ages 11 and up. NOTE: Class does not include CPR. Cost of class includes a 160-page handbook. Bring a sack lunch. |
