| Discusses various aspects of security applied to an organizational model. Topics will include physical security, social engineering, organizational policy and procedures, and disaster recovery. |
| II : Course Objectives |
This course will discuss various requirements to "harden" different desktop and network operating systems making them less vulnerable to attack. Discussion will include Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux systems in various logical locations (local LAN, DMZ, WAN).
- • Assess security risks of various operating systems
- • Authentication, authorizing and accounting (AAA)
- • Manage user securing file and print resources. application and operating system hardening
