I: Catalog Course Description

Increases typing speed and accuracy to employable levels of 50+ WPM. Lessons contain timings. Student is encouraged to meet speed and accuracy goals at each level.
Note: Non-transferable for a NSHE baccalaureate degree. Non-applicable towards an AA or AS Degree.

II: Course Objectives

COT 103B Increases typing speed and accuracy to employable levels of 50+ WPM. Lessons contain timings. Student is encouraged to meet speed and accuracy goals at each level.

  • A. Paradigm Skillbuilding is designed to help you build your speed and improve control at the computer keyboard while reinforcing and extending your vocabulary. The program includes 15 modules that:
  • 1. Provide letter practice.
  • 2. Provide a strong approach to vocabulary building.
  • 3. Provide similar syllabic intensity for each timing (from 5.0 to 6.0).
  • 4. Provide timings that are evaluated on the basis of WAM, errors, and accuracy percentage.
