I : Catalog Course Description
Presents the essential tool for universal document exchange, Adobe Acrobat. Students will learn to publish virtually any document in Portable Document Format (PDF). They will learn the fundamental concepts and features of the program plus advanced features such as creating forms and managing color in PDF files. It also reviews the design of documents for online viewing.
II : Course Objectives

Presents the essential tool for universal document exchange, Adobe Acrobat. Students will learn to publish virtually any document in Portable Document Format (PDF). They will learn the fundamental concepts and features of the program plus advanced features such as creating forms and managing color in PDF files. It also reviews the design of documents for online viewing.

  • • Define Adobe PDF; look at examples; using Organizer
  • • Getting to know the work area: Tools, Toolbars, Task buttons, Menus, Screen display and Work area; Using Help
  • • Convert Microsoft Office files
  • • Create Adobe PDF files
  • • Create Adobe PDF from Web Pages
  • • Customize PDF output
  • • Modify and edit PDF files
  • • Make documents flexible and accessible
  • • Work with the document review process
  • • Add signatures and Security
  • • Create Multimedia presentations and use engineering and technical features
  • • Create and work with PDF Forms
  • • Use Acrobat for Professional Publishing
