- Describe the different types of witnesses
- Analyze the theories of sentencing
- Assess victim impact statements and their relevance to sentencing

- Identify the types of punishments, both historically and modern day
- Distinguish differences between jails and prisons
- Analyze the main court decisions concerning juveniles
- Assess today's juvenile process
