Course Outline
I: Catalog Course Description
Emphasizes intermediate techniques of jazz dance. May be repeated for up to four units.
II: Course Objectives
By the completion of the class, the students should, with 75% accuracy:
- Be able to perform more advanced techniques of warming up.
- Use advanced jazz terminology.
- Perform more complex dance combinations with proper body positioning.
- Be able to choreograph dance routines using the jazz idiom.
III: Course Linkage

Students should:
1. Know the subject matter appropriate to the musical theater degree.
