| Continues the study and application of the elements of fiction in a constructive workshop setting. |
| II : Course Objectives |
Upon completion of this course the students should be able to:
- Recognize and use the elements of fiction in their own work
- Participate in critique sessions and produce constructive, written critiques
- Write sample cover letters, query letters and synopses
- Create a personal artist statement
- Be familiar with standard manuscript format, submission protocol, and methods of market research
