I : Catalog Course Description
Provides an interdisciplinary introductory survey of the ecology of natural systems with emphasis on the relationship of humans to the environment. Includes four laboratory experiences.
II : Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of ENV 100, Introduction to Humans and Environment, students should have a basic understanding of ecological and natural systems and human impacts on these systems. Both physical and human sciences are emphasized.

III : Course Linkage
Linkage of course to educational program mission and at least one educational program outcome.

General Education Mission: ENV 100 is a general education class that promotes the development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes that benefit students in their personal and professional endeavors.

General Education Student Learning Outcome: Students who successfully complete ENV 100 satisfy the general education learning outcome of having problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Program Mission for AA/AS degree: ENV 100 satisfies the AA/AS degree mission by providing academic knowledge and skills for successful transfer to meet higher educational goals.

Program Student Learning Outcomes for AA/AS degree: Students who successfully complete ENV 100 will know the subject matter appropriate to the emphasis of the degree.
