Explores various topics of current interest/demand in Electronics Technology.
II : Course Objectives

Applies to a variety of current topics in the field of electronics, covering subjects such as communications, specialized wiring, installation techniques, equipment configuration, etc.

  • • Enable student to acquire knowledge and hands-on experience in specialized areas of electronics that are current to industry activity.
  • • Provide student with opportunities to gain hands on experience with simulation software and to solidify their understanding of theory with experiments and demonstrations. .

Linkage of course to educational program mission and at least one educational program outcome.

This course is a possible elective for an Associate of Applied Science degree with and emphasis in Electronics Technology, where the purpose of the Associate Applied Science Degree is to provide employment-related knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a chosen field of study.
ET 198B - Special Topics addresses the following AAS degree student learning outcomes. Students to complete programs in occupational areas are expected to demonstrate:

The subject matter appropriate to the fundamentals of electronics.
Are Able To:
• Acquire skills and perform tasks necessary for employment of career enhancement in the general field of electronics.
• Utilize appropriate resources and reference materials to remain current in the field of electronics.
