This course introduces the principles of logic circuits, digital integrated circuits, Boolean algebra, memory devices, data conversion, flip-flops and registers, sequential logic circuits, and more. Students apply theoretical knowledge with hands-on experiments.

• • Enable student to acquire knowledge in the areas of numbering systems, logical expressions, logic gates and logic elements in circuitry
• • Provide student with opportunities to gain hands on experience with simulation software and to solidify their understanding of theory with experiments and demonstrations.

This course is a possible elective for an Associate of Applied Science degree with and emphasis in Electronics Technology, where the purpose of the Associate Applied Science Degree is to provide employment-related knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a chosen field of study.
