This course expands the concepts learned in ET 283B to include analog conversion, serial data communications, memory devices, programmable times, signal conditioning, sensors, motors, control devices and control circuits.

• • Enable student to acquire in depth knowledge in the purpose and operation of the functional blocks of a microprocessor and microcontroller.
• • Provide student with opportunities to gain hands on experience with simulation software and to solidify their understanding of theory with experiments and demonstrations.

This course is a possible elective for an Associate of Applied Science degree with and emphasis in Electronics Technology, where the purpose of the Associate Applied Science Degree is to provide employment-related knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a chosen field of study.
