| Introduces computer graphics as they relate to graphic communications for digital media. This course will present a hands-on overview of a variety of software. |
| II : Course Objectives |
Upon completion of the course, students will acquire an understanding of the following:
- Know the history and development of digital media.
- Survey today's graphic design careers in digital media.
- Have a basic undersanding of the industry standard tools for creating and delivering content for digital media.
- Understand digital media planning, design and production techniques.
- Be able to give form to concepts with a variety of software applications.
- Have skills for combining research and critical thinking to spark your creativity.
