| Provides the fundamental operation of whole numbers, fractions and mixed numbers, decimals, percentage, measurement and geometry. The course is intended to provide a thorough review of basics needed in future mathematics courses and in applied fields. |

This class is designed to provide the fundamental operation of whole numbers, fractions and mixed numbers, decimals, percentage, measurement and geometry. The course is intended to provide a thorough review of basics needed in future mathematical courses and in applied fields.
- Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to work with the following:
- 1.addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers
- 2.exponents and order of operations
- 3.fractions and mixed numbers
- 4.decimals
- 5.ratio and proportion
- 6.percent
- 7.measurement (American and Metric units)
- 8.geometry
- 9.addition, subtraction of signed numbers
- 10.applied problems
