| Provides a review of algebra that will refresh previously taught concepts. Course will help prepare students for the math placement test. |
| II : Course Objectives |
This class is designed to provide a review of algebra that will enable students to remember concepts taught previously so students will not spend so much academic time in remediation.
- Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to work with the following:
- 1.demonstrate order of operations
- 2.solve linear equations
- 3.solve linear inequalities
- 4.graph linear functions and inequalities
- 5.solve quadratic equations by factoring
- 6.evaluate functions
- 7.graph quadratic functions
- 8.solve systems of linear equations and inequalities
- 9.applied problems
