This course is broad in scope and emphasizes applications. Topics will include probability, statistics, business, finance and consumer mathematics.
Areas 1 and 2 should make up approximately 1/2 to 2/3 of the semester.
The remaining 1/3 to 1/2 of the semester should consist of applications from one or more of the following areas:
Linkage of course to educational program mission and at least one educational program outcome.

Math 126 or Math 128 can be taken in place of Math 120 in order to fulfill the math requirement for any degree program offered at WNC. This option is useful for students who might want to take additional upper division math courses later in their college career.
