Students must be at least 16 years of age with a class C or A license; for anyone who is 16 to 18 it is strongly recommended to call the Community Education office for the latest DMV regulations to obtain a class M endorsement. Students MUST be able to ride a bicycle. Upon successful completion students will receive an endorsement card to take to Nevada DMV to get a class M motorcycle endorsement added to a class C or A license. ATTENDANCE AT ALL SESSIONS IS MANDATORY. IF STUDENTS ARE LATE, EVEN BY TWO MINUTES, MISS A CLASS, ARE DISMISSED FROM CLASS OR DO NOT ATTEND, THEIR CLASS FEE IS FORFEITED. ANOTHER PERSON CAN NOT BE SUBSTITUTED FOR A PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED STUDENT. This is a difficult program; students may be dismissed if their lack of progression endangers themselves or fellow classmates. Motorcycle and helmet provided. THE FOLLOWING ARE SUGGESTED ITEMS TO HAVE WHILE OUT ON THE COURSE: lawn chair, sun screen, snacks and fluids.
