| II : Course Objectives |
By the completion of the class, the students should, with an accuracy of 75%:
- Use correct voice leading in four-part writing, chords in all inversions
- Use the VI4
- Correctly use melodic units : motives, phrases, etc., in construction of melodies
- Use dominant and nondominant seventh chords in constructing harmonies
