| Explores a variety of musical styles, including pop, rock and jazz. Class may be repeated for a total of eight credits. |

By the completion of the class, the students should, with an accuracy of 75%:
- Play various styles, including pop, rock and jazz
- Perform basic articulations and rhythms
- Sing and move to basic choreography
- Work in ensemble
