I : Catalog Course Description
Special topics which vary across semesters. A maximum of three credits may be applied towards a WNC degree.
II : Course Objectives

Upon completion of the course, the student is expected to demonstrate meaningful improvements in the specific objectives designed for each course and articulated in the course syllabus. The course objectives will represent the recommended outcomes from the American Psychological Association and the WNC requirements for sophomore level general education courses.

III : Course Linkage
Linkage of course to educational program mission and at least one educational program outcome.

Educational Program Mission Linkage

The Psychology of Personal and Social Adjustment course focuses primarily on general education student learning outcomes. The course can be used for all degrees and certificates of achievement offered at WNC.

General Education Program Outcomes Linkage

1. Improvement in oral and written communication skills.
2. Improve problem solving and critical thinking skills.
3. Understand and apply social science principles.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of and ability to apply the subject matter covered in the course.
