Course Outline

I: Catalog Course Description

Acquaints students to specific laws pertaining to real estate ownership, transactions and laws governing real estate agencies. Includes agency, contracts, deeds, easements, estates in land, zoning, restrictions, tenancy, liens, foreclosures, title transfer, leases and court decisions.

II: Course Objectives

This course will acquaint students with the Nevada Revised Statutes pertaining to real estate ownership and transactions for various real estate agencies. Includes agency, contracts, deeds, easement, and estates in land, zoning, restrictions, tenancy, liens, foreclosures, title transfer, leases and court decisions.

  • The various interests in real estate and how they affect ownership and use.
  • Liens affecting real estate.
  • Types of contracts used in transactions.
  • Methods of title transfers and legal documents of conveyance.
