Covers legal terminology relating to land surveying, writing and interpreting legal descriptions, and deed and title research. Introduces state laws relating to surveying and mapping.
Introduce the fundamental principles and practices common to the industry for writing legal descriptions.
Familiarize the student with the Laws of Nevada as related to surveying.
Prepare the student for other survey courses.
Linkage of course to educational program mission and at least one educational program outcome.
The mission of this course is to provide management training that addresses topics of critical importance to subcontractors, general contractors, superintendents and project managers.
This course addresses the following student learning outcomes in which the successful student will be able to demonstrate:
1. Knowledge of the subject matter appropriate to the construction industry.
2. Skills essential to performing tasks within the construction industry.
3. Effective communication and computation skills appropriate to the construction industry.
4. Utilization of appropriate resources to remain current in the construction industry.
