Course Outline

I: Catalog Course Description

Covers tool identification and uses, tool and machine safety, project design, gluing, laminating, mechanical drawings and sketches of three views.

Note: Non-transferable for an NSHE baccalaureate degree. Non-applicable towards an AA or AS Degree.

II: Course Objectives

Demonstrate a working knowledge of tools and their uses.

Understand tool and machine safety.

Have a working knowledge of gluing,laminating and mechanical drawings.

III: Course Linkage

Linkage of course to educational program mission and at least one educational program outcome.

This is an elective course.
