Western Nevada College is an academy for the Cisco Networking Academy Program, offering programs leading to CCNA and CCNP industry certification. These courses help prepare students for a career working with Cisco networking hardware and equipment.

Course Requirements
CCNA Routing and Switching Preparation  Units (Credits)
CSCO 120 CCNA Internetworking Fundamentals 4
CSCO 121 CCNA Routing Protocols and Concepts 4
CSCO 220 CCNA LAN Switching and Wireless Fundamentals 4
CSCO 221 CCNA WAN Fundamentals 4
Upon successful course completion, with a grade of C or better, WNC will issue a certificate of completion for the course(s) of study.
CCNA Security Preparation (for Cisco and Comp TIA Security+ Exams)  Units (Credits)
CSCO 120 CCNA Internetworking Fundamentals 4
CSCO 121 CCNA Routing Protocols and Concepts 4
CSCO 230 Fundamentals of Network Security 4
Upon successful course completion, with a grade of C or better, WNC will issue a certificate of completion for the course(s) of study.
CCNA Wireless Preparation  Units (Credits)
CSCO 120 CCNA Internetworking Fundamentals 4

Course for Implementing Secure Converged Wide Area Networks; required course to become a Cisco Certified Network Specialist.
CSCO 281* CCNP Implementing Secure Converged Wide Area Networks 4
*WNC does not issue a certificate of completion for this course.
