The Communications and Fine Arts Division at WNC offers Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Arts degrees, as well as certificates of achievement. Many of its courses are identified as general education and fulfill the English/Communications and Fine Arts requirements for all degrees

The mission of the division is to strive to improve the effectiveness of oral and written communication; enhance creativity and personal expression; develop habits of critical thinking, self-discovery, and self-assessment; and foster an appreciation for the arts and for diversity.
