Community Education CMSV 123C: Swing Dance
Learn the three main types of swing that you can use in nightclubs or ballrooms... Five weeks is spent on the East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, and the Lindy Hop Swing. Each dance covered will include; patterns, leading/following, frame/posture, rhythm/timing, and styling. No partner required and rotation will be encouraged. Daily practice is necessary. All classes are full length semester courses (Fall 2008 is August 25–December 13) unless otherwise noted. NOTE: Classes with low registration numbers may result in the class being canceled. Students are encouraged to register and pay early to reduce the chance of class cancellation. NEW EARLIER PAY DATE: Payment is due for full-term fall 2008 classes by August 15, 2008.
