Construction CONS 230B: Electrical Distribution System
Explains electrical theory, distribution systems and wiring techniques utilized in the construction industry. Topics will include high voltage distribution, grounding, GFCI's, transformers, load centers and circuits. Actual wiring techniques will be practiced in conjunction with electrical troubleshooting. All classes are full length semester courses (Fall 2008 is August 25–December 13) unless otherwise noted. NOTE: Classes with low registration numbers may result in the class being canceled. Students are encouraged to register and pay early to reduce the chance of class cancellation. NEW EARLIER PAY DATE: Payment is due for full-term fall 2008 classes by August 15, 2008.
