Geographic Information Services GIS 109: Introduction to Geographic Information Systems
Introduces GIS software and hardware systems, including operating systems, screens, functions, file types, file management, movement of data from databases and spreadsheets into GIS, and survey of security systems and issues. All classes are full length semester courses (Fall 2008 is August 25–December 13) unless otherwise noted. NOTE: Classes with low registration numbers may result in the class being canceled.
