Studies a selected issue or topic of significance in history. The intent will be to develop an awareness of and appreciation for the complex forces which have shaped the modern world. All classes are full length semester courses (Fall 2008 is August 25–December 13) unless otherwise noted. NOTE: Classes with low registration numbers may result in the class being canceled. Students are encouraged to register and pay early to reduce the chance of class cancellation. NEW EARLIER PAY DATE: Payment is due for full-term fall 2008 classes by August 15, 2008.
