Whether you are attending college for the first time, or returning after a long absence, the Academic Skills Center can help. Our skilled tutors will sit down with you and help you master concepts and assignments that are giving you trouble. Our services are free and confidential. Tutoring session last for 30 minutes to one hour and may be booked up to one week in advance. Telephone 423-7565 extension 2278 to book an appointment. We also offer drop-in tutoring on a first come, first serve basis Monday through Saturday too. Note: On Saturdays, tutoring will be by first come, first serve only.

The WNC Fallon Academic Skills Center will start "Brown Bag" Workshops, a series of presentations on various subjects relating to being a success in college. We will hold the workshops on Fridays between 12PM and 1PM. Dates and subjects will be announced by the Marquee and the weekly WNC Fallon flyer. Topics include: Study Skills; Note Taking; Time Management; Term Papers; Math Anxiety; Test Anxiety; Test Strategies; WEB CE6.
