Western Nevada College's 2007 baseball team made national headlines by winning the Region XVIII Championship and the Western District Championship, and earning a trip to the NJCAA World Series. The Wildcats won 10 consecutive post-season games on the road and ended their second season with a 41-24-2 overall record. The Wildcats finished fifth in the country by winning two games at the World Series.
