Western Nevada College's Wildcats baseball program holds a 164-76-2 record after four seasons of competition, along with four championships. The team's record in Carson City is 72-19 and at John L. Harvey Field is 59-14. Eight Western Nevada alumni have signed professional contracts since June 2007. To date, 23 players have either signed scholarships or gone on to play at NCAA Division I universities. Seventeen other Wildcats have signed with NCAA Division II or NAIA colleges and universities. In total, 38 Western Nevada alums have continued their baseball careers at four-year colleges or in the professional ranks.

June 4, 2009: Two Wildcats players have earned national honors: Second baseman Mike Stiles was named a winner of the 2009 NJCAA Division 1 Rawlings Gold Glove Award, and left-fielder Brian Barnett was named a Division 1 Honorable Mention All-American by the NJCAA. More Information.
