Western Nevada College offered an intercollegiate rodeo team from 2004-2006. The team was based at the fallon campus and participated in the West Coast Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association. See below for archival information about the team.

| Rodeo Team Benefit Raises $19,534 |
| March 27, 2006: The fifth annual Western Nevada Community College Rodeo Team Fund-Raiser grossed $19,534 from dinner/dance ticket sales, silent and live auction purchases, bar sales, and cash contributions. These monies will help support the rodeo team's expenses during the coming year, including practice arena rental, the leasing of and feed for practice stock, the part-time salary of the coach, and travel to intercollegiate rodeo competitions in Nevada and California, according to Sue Chambers, rodeo fund-raiser committee chair. | April 13, 2006: Two Western Nevada Community College Rodeo Team members gave strong performances during recent competitions in California at West Hills College in Coalinga, and at Cal Poly State University in Pomona. More Information. |
