Davis Observatory This slide show-lecture by Mike Thomas takes visitors on a journey from the Sun and our solar system, outward through our galaxy to the very limits of the known universe. It includes many amazing Hubble Space Telescope images, explanations of astounding objects, and latest theories about 'what is out there'.
Saturday night Star Parties and free lectures by Mike Thomas and others continue through summer at the Jack C. Davis Observatory at Western Nevada College. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and lectures will begin at 8 p.m.
