The Spring 2012 semester is from January 23, 2012 to May 19, 2012. All dates are in 2012 unless otherwise noted.

November 28: Spring 2012 registration begins for returning and continuing students via myWNC. Enrollment appointments may be viewed in myWNC student center.

December 1: Last day to complete financial aid application process for full consideration for Spring 2012 semester funding
December 5: Spring 2012 registration begins via myWNC for new students and for non-credit community education classes.

January 6: Payment of 80% due for all Spring 2012 classes or first payment due for 3-pay plan. Students who have not made this payment may be removed from class rosters.
January 20: Full payment (100%) due for all Spring 2012 classes or first payment due for 2-pay plan. Students who have not made this payment may be removed from class rosters. Short-term classes must be paid for in full at the time of registration.
January 23: Spring 2012 semester begins
January 27: Last day to add classes through myWNC.; Last day to drop with 100% refund for full-term classes. Last day to add full-term classes via myWNC.
January 30: Even exchange of credits for full-term classes begins with special enrollment authorization to Admissions and Records.

February 3: Even exchange of credits ends.; Full payment due for all Spring 2012 classes unless payment plan arrangements were previously made. Students who have not made this payment may be removed from class rosters.
February 4: Payment in full must be made before students may add or be reinstated into full-term classes with a special enrollment aurhorization form. $25 late payment fee applies.
February 6: Second payment due for 3-pay plan. A late payment fee of 10% or $10, whichever is greater, applies to any owed balance not paid by this date.
February 17: Last day to add or be reinstated into full-term classes.
February 20: Second and final payment due for 2-pay plan. A late payment fee of 10% or $10, whichever is greater, applies to any owed balance not paid by this date.

March 1: Last day to apply for Spring 2012 graduation
March 6: Third payment due for 3-pay plan. A late payment fee of 10% or $10, whichever is greater, applies to any owed balance not paid by this date.
March 17: Last day to change credit to audit or audit to credit for full-term classes via myWNC.
March 26: Classes resume after spring break
