| Description | Ms. Snively is a Navy Chaplain serving with the Marine Corps in Afghanistan. She has written a book, Heaven in the Midst of Hell, documenting her time in Afghanistan thru photos and essays. Ms. Snively shares a vivid and personal account of the effects of the war on soldiers and civilians. From her unique perspective as a Navy Quaker chaplain serving with Marines, she carves out her own compassionate path to healing marked not with pat answers but rather an open and questioning spirit.
