From pumpkin patches and u-pick to weddings and festivals, learn what it takes to make a successful farm event, large or small! Meet farmers with successful agritourism operations, and collaborate with peers to make Nevada farms a destination.

The workshop includes classroom lecture and a visit to the Lattin Farms Fall Festival, including the corn maze, where students will enjoy the festival and evaluate different aspects of the event. Students will learn business planning, risk management, marketing on a small budget, developing partnerships and sponsorships, new ideas for on-farm events and more.
