Break-Fix Emergencies
For break-fix calls only, call 775-445-4290.
Definition of a break-fix: A break in service that would prevent normal conduct of business, i.e., network connectivity affecting a Lab and no alternate means of continuing the current task exists.
Normal Work Requests
The system currently in use for non break-fix issues is named Wonderdesk. This system is available online and is accessed via a web browser using the link provided above. The system allows the requestor to submit a request for assistance and then track the progress of and communicate with the technician assigned to the task. If you are in need of a Wonderdesk account or require training in its use, please contact your immediate supervisor who can contact Computing Services for you, to arrange the assistance required.
Incoming/Outgoing Employee
If you have an incoming (new or transfer) employee, please use the Employee Intake Form. A Novell account will be created when the Intake form is submitted. You may also use this form for Outgoing (transferring or terminated) employees.
IIf you wish to create a generic Novell account (for work study, etc), please put in a work request through Wonderdesk.
Computer Lab Configuration Requests
General Process
Purpose: The Computer Lab Configuration Request is intended for additions, deletions or changes of hardware or software or both, that affect an entire lab.
Scope: The request method is to be used for all Department/Division employees within the college.
