She worked in public relations before completing her Master of Music degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Arrigotti started the music program at Western Nevada College in 1977, where she serves as the only full-time performing arts professor, coordinating 12 part-time instructors in music, dance and theater. She has directed many Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company productions, including "Fiddler on the Roof," "Beauty and the Beast," "West Side Story," "The Music Man," "Forever Plaid," "South Pacific," and "Steel Magnolias," and has produced 70 shows for the company.
Often found conducting the orchestras, she hopped on stage to play Ruth in "Pirates of Penzance," Grace Farrell in "Annie," and "Annie Warbucks," Irene Molloy in "Hello, Dolly!" and Golde in "Fiddler on the Roof." Stephanie was selected as a finalist for Artist of the Year in 2000, Woman of Distinction by Soroptomists International in 2003 and an Honored Faculty member by her colleagues in 2004.
Stephanie is married to Rich Arrigotti, WNC math professor and patient sound technician for her non-stop productions.
