Born and raised in western New York, Ginny has been a Nevada resident since 1983 when she and her husband, an air traffic controller with the U.S. Navy and retired from the service in 1990, were stationed at NAS Fallon. Her employment with WNC began in January 1990. "It was the place where I really wanted to work," says Ginny, who served as a secretary at Canisius College in Buffalo in the 1970's, "and I love what I do." Ginny is completing her thesis for a master's degree in public administration from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her personal interests, when she has the time, include reading non-fiction, playing golf, attending films, and writing.
