Institutional Research: Program Review & Assessment
Faculty and staff review and assess administrative programs and departments at WNC in order to determine whether intended outcomes are being achieved and to plan program improvements. In accordance with WNC Policy 14-1-1 Assessment and Evaluation, administrative departments and programs should be assessed on a regular basis, and staff are to use assessment results to improve services.
All administrative departments and programs (except auxiliary departments such as the Sedway Café and the Bookstore) are expected to plan, complete, and report on assessment activities related to at least one program outcome every year.
Assessment reports and plans are to be submitted electronically to Institutional Research by May 15 every year. (ir@wnc.edu)
