Description: WESTERN NEVADA COLLEGE'S APPLICATION SUPPORT & DEVELOPMENT (ASD) DEPARTMENT IS LOOKING FOR STUDENT EMPLOYEES TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO VARIOUS ASD EMPLOYEES. IF YOU ENJOY WORKING WITH PEOPLE AND COMPUTERS, THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU. AS A STUDENT EMPLOYEE FOR ASD YOU WILL BE GIVEN FLEXIBLE HOURS, GAIN EXPOSURE TO A TEAM ENVIRONMENT, RECEIVE REGULAR RAISES, WORK ON CAMPUS, AND LEARN COMPUTING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.   • Qualifications: -DEPENDABLE -PUNCTUAL -SELF-MOTIVATED -ABLE TO WORK WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION -WILLING TO LEARN SOFTWARE & EQUIPMENT -ABLE TO WORK IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT -BASIC DATA ENTRY -KNOW THE BASICS OF MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS (WORD, EXCEL, ETC) -WORK A MINIMUM OF 10 HOURS PER WEEK

  • Wage: $10.50/hr

  • Apply: If you have been awarded work study, contact the supervisor for this position to schedule an interview. You also need to fill out a Student Employment Application and Hiring Packet which is available in the Financial Assistance Office. Once your packet is completed, you need to bring it back with two forms of ID (examples of appropriate documents are included in the packet) and meet with the Scholarship & Student Employment Coordinator. If a department wishes to hire you they will notify the Scholarship & Student Employment Coordinator via email and a contract will be prepared for you to begin working.
