Space scientists and engineers are convening at Western Nevada Community College Thursday and Friday, April 21-22, for the annual Nevada NASA Joint Conference. Speakers from WNCC, the University of Nevada, Reno, University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Desert Research Institute will address issues ranging from human-computer interaction in virtual environments to astrobiology and the formation of galaxies.
The conference is sponsored by the Nevada NASA Space Grant Consortium and Nevada NASA EPSCoR (the Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research, which was developed in 1979 by the National Science Foundation).
