Faculty and Staff E-mail
WNC NetID
All students and faculty are provided a WNC NetID account through the SWAMI system. The WNC NetID is used to access the college wireless and public computer systems, and various other online systems.
Student E-mail Accounts
As of June 30, 2010 WNC no longer provides @wnc.nevada.edu student e-mail or webpages. Students should make sure they have a personal e-mail address on file with the college. This can be done online through myWNC. Students who do not have a personal e-mail can get a free e-mail account from Google.
College Wireless Network
Wireless access points are available for student access on the Carson, Douglas and Fallon campuses. The network name is WNCWIRELESS and signs are located in buildings where you can access the network. To access the wireless network, students will need a valid WNC NetID and password.
Students and faculty can contact computer support at 445-3227 for help with their WNC NetID login and password.
Note: Password changes take effect at the top of each hour.
Faculty and Staff E-mail Accounts
Faculty and Staff @wnc.edu e-mail accounts are through Lotus Notes and can be accessed online at Lotus Webmail. For account activation, questions, or any issues please contact Computing Services.
