WNCC Fallon Holding Auditions for "Bye Bye Birdie"

Western Nevada Community College Fallon is inviting auditions for a production of the musical "Bye Bye Birdie." The musical will be presented in five performances November 13-20 at Barkley Theater.

Audition workshops are Tuesday-Wednesday, Aug. 31-Sept. 1, at the Churchill County High School Auditorium. Youth part workshops (6th grade through sophomore) are from 4-6 p.m. and adult parts (high school junior and up) are from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Actors must attend one of the workshops to learn audition materials. Auditions will be on Tuesday-Wednesday, Sept. 7-8; rehearsals begin September 14.

Those selected for adult parts must enroll in either Musical Theatre I or Musical Theatre II for three college credits. Actors chosen for youth parts must enroll in College for Kids Musical Theatre.
