Learn Therapies From Acupressure to Yoga at WNCC
Learn about holistic therapies and applications in two nursing classes at Western Nevada Community College. Complementary Medicine I and II provide hands-on practice in acupressure, compare therapies requiring office visits with self-care therapies that can be done at home under a physician's guidance, and introduce topics such as biofeedback training, meditation, nutritional supplements and yoga.
Each one-credit class costs $53, plus $25 for course materials. Complementary Medicine I (NURS 285B, call # 32853, Sec. C01) is on Saturday, Oct. 16 and 23, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Complementary Medicine II (NURS 285B, call # 32854, Sec. C02) is on Saturday, Nov.13 and 20, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
